MG Olinto M. Barsanti US Army ROTC Scholarship

The MG Olinto M. Barsanti US Army ROTC Scholarship supports students enrolled in, or active members, of UNT's Army ROTC program at the University of North Texas.

To be considered for the MG Olinto M. Barsanti US Army ROTC Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:

1. Be enrolled as a full-time student at UNT.
2. Enroll in, or be an active member, of UNT's Army ROTC program.
   a) Be enrolled in a military science class and corresponding lab, if applicable.
   b) Completion Cadet active in UNT’s Army ROTC program.
3. Maintain full-time enrollment as established by the University, unless the student is nearing completion of their degree program and does not need full-time enrollment
4. Maintain a 2.5 cumulative GPA and term GPA beginning the semester of application through the life of the scholarship.
5. Achieve a passing score on the Army Combat Fitness Test.
6. Be present for and compete in an in-person board in March 2025, the results of which will decide the number of winners and amount of their award.
7. Complete the online application.
8. Display the character and dedication embodied by MG Olinto Barsanti throughout his life and career.
9. Application deadline is February 24, 2025.
